Frosty milkweed
It was very cold this morning, and everything seemed to have frost on it. This is some frozen milkweed near the horse pasture, its seeds still in the pod. I often wonder with all of the wind we have here, how those seeds manage to stay fast.

I was amazed too that there was anything left of the milkweek, much less hanging out of the pod. I'd have thought it would have blown away long ago.
I take the close ups close up! I have a Tamron 28-75 aspherical lens that lends itself to macro shots pretty well.
